2024 Diversity and Inclusion Calendar

Happy Friday!

Excuse the delay but I’ve been working on something special for you all.

What is it?

My 2024 Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Calendar is available for you. We plan ahead around here. The calendar includes a comprehensive list of professional, cultural, religious, and secular holidays and celebrations.

Why do you need a D&I calendar?

Whether you realize it or not, professional, cultural, religious, and secular holidays are important to people in your personal and work life. By being aware of these important dates, you are more likely to acknowledge them happening. Your acknowledgment can help create a sense of belonging in your workplace and amongst your team.

How to use it…

Start by downloading the calendars at this link or at www.amberbenton.com/calendar. Then, take note of all the different celebrations that take place between January and December. Heads up: October and November are filled with celebrations.

In the event you lose your downloads, there’s an entire site you can return to in order to get the info. I try to think of everything.

On the site, you will find a full text-version of the celebrations on the site (just keep scrolling).

Gentle reminder: This is a comprehensive list but not a to-do list. I would not recommend planning an event for every single celebration. Take some time and be creative about how you can honor each celebration.

Send me a message and let me know what you think of the calendar

Let’s get into this week’s update…
