Periods, Pronouns, and Payments

This week I have been thinking about my time and rest a lot. If I am being honest, being overly booked and busy does not serve me well. In fact, it is starting to sound more raggedy everyday. When I’m doing the most, I can hear the beloved Congresswoman Maxine Waters in my head…

This was initially sparked by Tricia Hersey’s Instagram account, @thenapministry. Hersey is the founder of TheNap Ministry, and author of Rest Is Resistance: A Manifesto. Her work focuses on rest as a form of resistance. I admit, it is hard for me to rest and be still but I need to rest and be still, sometimes. One way I am creating space for rest is by adjusting my schedule and routine. I shared my tried and true scheduling tips on the blog this week, so you too, can better manage your day, reclaim your time, and ultimately, get some much needed rest.

Sincerely,

Your favorite CDO
