These workshops are topic-focused to help you and your team better understand terminology and concepts related to a variety of diversity, equity, and inclusion areas. Select one topic for your team to take a deep dive. Your session may focus on one of the following topics:

• unpacking unconscious/implicit bias

• understanding social identities (race, gender, ability, age, sexuality, etc.)

• understanding intersectionality

• understanding race and anti-racism

• understanding gender and sexuality

• understanding ability and ableism

So, you have a basic understanding of a topic but you know you need to understand more. Let’s take a deeper dive with a Beyond The Basics session. This session may include (but not limited to) topics such as:

• building an inclusive organization

• responding to (racial, gender, religious, sexuality, or ableist) microaggressions

• understanding what critical race theory (CRT) really means and how to apply it to your work and daily life

• equitable recruiting and job search practices

• creating an accessible work environment

• creating a gender inclusive work environment
